Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on the 10th of March, 1958, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die manufacturer also a former worker at a factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her three siblings. Stone started second grade in kindergarten at the age of five. Saegertown School in Saegertown Pennsylvania is her school of choice for highschool. She graduated in 1975. Stone also participated for the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, and was crowned Miss Crawford County. Stone and her aunt in 1977, made the move in New Jersey for a modeling job. She signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week later. Then, she relocated back to Europe and spent the whole year living in Milan in Italy and Paris. Stone was, however, unhappy with acting and modeling in Europe. Stone decided to keep her acting career going as an actress during the time she was in Europe. Stone was in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" when he was 20. The film was met with diverse reactions.
