Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole daughter from Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former employee of a plant. She was born on the 10th of March, 1958, in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are three of her siblings. Stone started second grade at just five. Stone was said to be gifted in the academic area. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania is where she earned her diploma in 1975. A winner of Miss Crawford County, she also participated in Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone relocated back to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977, to explore a modeling career. She did so after signing with the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. After spending a year living in Milan and Paris and then moving to Europe. Stone however became disillusioned in Europe in the modeling industry and opted to go into acting. She was 20 when she appeared in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories," that received mixed praises.
