Sharon Yvonne Stone is the only child from Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, an engineer and tool maker. She was also a worker in a factory. Her birth date was 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick, are three of her siblings. Stone started second grade in kindergarten when she was five. She graduated from Saegertown High School in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. Also, Stone competed and won in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone, along with her aunt, in 1977 made the move into New Jersey for a modeling job. Stone signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week further. Soon after, Stone relocated back to Europe and spent the whole year living in Milan as well as Paris. Stone was disillusioned by the model business in Europe but decided to focus on acting instead. Woody Allen starred in "Stardust Memories" it was a mix-review movie, at age 20.
