Anna Heche and Anne Lockhart
Anne Celeste Heche - an American actress, who appeared in diverse genres of cinema, theatre and television - was a well known American. She was awarded many awards, among them her Daytime Emmy Award as well as the National Board of Review Award. Anne Celeste Heche, born on May 25, 1969, in the city of New York and died on August 11, 2022 in the city of Los Angeles is an American actress. She made her debut playing twins Vicky Hudson and Marley Love on the soap-opera Another World (1987-1991) winning her a Daytime Emmy Award and two Soap Opera Digest Awards. Her fame grew in the 1990s' final years with roles in the crime-drama film Donnie Brasco (1997) the disaster film Volcano (1997) Volcano (1997), the Slasher film I Know What You Did The Last Summer (1997) The political satire film Wag the Dog (1997) the action-comedy film Six Days Seven Nights (1998) as well as the dramatic-thriller movie Return to Paradise (1998). Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953, is an American actress. She is most well-known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba in the television series Battlestar Galactica (1978-1979). She is daughter of actress June Lockhart. Lockhart began her career at very young age. When she was four, her first film role came on screen in T is for Tumbleweed. It was nominated for an Academy Award in this short film. Mother and daughter spent many hours together in the set, and learning about the business. Lockhart was even a part of several seasons of Lassie. Dora in Jory, 1972 was the first film she appeared in by Lockhart. She played Joan Crawford's daughter in The Sixth Sense, a show on television in 1972. Joan made her last appearance on the show. Anne did not want the part of Laurie Strode that she was offered in John Carpenter's Halloween in 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis later was the actor. Carpenter says the actress was on his list to play the character however she decided to decline the role. Anne does not recall ever having been offered the role by John Carpenter or being offered the position. Perhaps one of her representatives decided to decline the part on her behalf without informing the actress. Glen Larson initially selected her to play Battlestar Galactica in 1978. He sent a rough script. The actress initially refused the role as she believed the character was weak. Glen then wrote her the role with a more powerful character, Sheba. The first 25-page script was read by Sheba and she was immediately in agreement. The show lasted for just one season. Co-starring in Joyride with Desi Arnaz Jr., Melanie Griffith (the daughter of Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucille Bell), Robert Carradine and Melanie Griffith in 1977 and in The Dark Tower with Michael Moriarty (1987).
