She afterward became acquainted with several troublesome classmates who were associated with drug deals and other criminal activities. After graduation of high school at age of seventeen, Annie Lederman spent the next year doing volunteer work, initially teaching dolphins Hawaii before working for a nonprofit organization located in Central America aiding disadvantaged children.
